ABOUT THE TREVOR PROJECT

Founded in 1998 by the creators of the Academy Award®-winning short film TREVOR, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25.

We can save young LGBTQ lives together.

For many, this year’s Pride looks very different. On June 1, a day that ordinarily heralds the advent of a joyful month for the LGBTQ community, we found ourselves at the confluence of multiple mounting tragedies. The Trevor Project supported thousands of LGBTQ young people through it all. From feelings of grief, anxiety, and fear, to stress related to isolation and physical distancing, our crisis counselors were there for LGBTQ youth, regardless of what was happening in the world.

Thanks to the Bene Mudra community, our ability to directly serve LGBTQ young people is possible! LGBTQ youth are the future of our community, and it is the Trevor Projects duty to show up for them 24/7 through suicide prevention, advocacy, research, and education programs, and to build a world that honors and affirms every LGBTQ young person.

We are thrilled to have selected this charity to serve as our mission. Please make a donation today! Every donation made, Bene Mudra will donate a percentage of sales each month!
