The spring equinox, also known as Ostara, has been celebrated as a time of fertility, rebirth, renewal, and new beginnings for thousands of years especially in the Pagean traditions. Today, many of the spring solstice rituals and symbols that were once attributed to Ostara have found their home in modern-day Easter traditions.
