At Bene Mudra, we believe that your story matters — and that every ending carries the seed of a new beginning. The Threshold is a guided transformational journey designed to help you move through change with self-compassion, creativity, and clarity.

This is not therapy, and it is not spiritual bypassing. It is a structured, human-centered experience that blends meditation, reflection, and practical mentorship to help you shape a meaningful next chapter. It’s about remembering who you are — and choosing who you will be next."

How The Threshold Journey Works

​Format: Small, curated group (8–12 participants) held via zoom

  • Weekly Live Sessions: Teaching, guided practices, and group dialogue (90 minutes)

  • Creative Integration: Journaling, inner work, and storytelling exercises

  • Meditation & Energy-Inspired Practices: For grounding, healing and self discovery

  • Private Community Space: Reflection, prompts, and connection between sessions

  •  1:1 Check-Ins: For deeper personal guidance (included in 12-week track)

12 week Threshold: The Flagship Experience

Week 1 — Arrival: Naming the Threshold

  • Identify what has ended, what is dissolving, and what is calling you forward

  • Guided meditation: “Standing at the Doorway”

  • Creative exercise: Writing your closing chapter

Week 4 — Voice & Creative Expression

  • Reclaiming your voice — spoken, written, and lived

  • Storytelling and soul-purpose exercises

  • Group sharing circle

Week 2 — The Story You’ve Been Living

  • Explore personal narratives, identity, and inherited roles

  • Journaling + group dialogue on the stories that shaped you

  • Optional intuitive reflection practice

Week 5 — Values, Boundaries & Becoming

  • Clarifying what you stand for now

  • Identity redefinition and energetic boundaries

  • Future-self visualization

Week 3 — Grief, Loss & Self-Compassion

  • Making space for what hurts without trying to fix it

  • Embodied compassion practices and guided Reiki-style session

  • Creative ritual: “What I Release”

Week 6 — Vision & Seeds of the Future

  • Goal shaping and soul-aligned intention setting

  • Mapping the life you are stepping toward

  • Creative planning ritual

Week 11 — Structure & Sustainability

  • Turning vision into real-life systems

  • Habits, time, energy, and practical planning

Week 9 — Relationships & Reflection

  • How change affects connection, intimacy, and belonging

  • Relational boundaries and communication

Week 12 — Rite of Passage

  • Closing ritual and personal mentorship session

  • Your “Living Manifesto” — written and spoken

  • Pathway into retreats, mentorship, or continued journey

The structure of the program may change based on the participants and their needs, creating a bespoke, catered group experience.

Private Mentorship & Coaching also available as an add -on or as a supplement. 1 and 3 month commitments are available with James Bene.

Meet Your Guide: James Bene 

James Bene is a transformational guide, retreat facilitator, and intuitive spiritual mentor who designs and facilitates immersive journeys for people navigating life transitions, creative rebirth, grief and loss and change. Through Bene Mudra, he leads group journeys, international retreats, and private mentorship experiences rooted in compassion, embodiment, and authentic self-expression. James has well over 20 years of professional experience in his field as a coach, energy healer, intuitive, meditation instructor and light worker.
