I met James at an event in Los Angeles and was blown away by his warmth and natural abilities. I soon after booked a private session with him for reiki and intuitive guidance and again, was blown away! I was not expecting what I received...it was even better. The experience was similar to therapy but with a deep spiritual twist! Guides came though as well as a grandparent! So crazy! I love James and would recommend him to anyone in the Los Angeles area seeking spiritual guidance, healing or a reading! He is the real deal!

I started going to James after my miscarriage and 2 failed IVF cycles. I was searching for help to heal and the wisdom to be able to move forward. James not only taught me the power of meditation and positive affirmations but how important it is to open yourself up in order for new life to come in. He's easy to talk to and share your most sacred feelings. His technique and style is calm and graceful. If anyone is looking to better themselves or to learn how to really heal in order to move forward, James is the answer. I feel blessed that I have him to help me along my journey.

James and his Reiki practice has changed my life forever. James is truly a master in his work, and he has been blessed with the very real gift of intuition, which only enhances the healing session, as he is able to zero in on the problem areas without you telling him! Always having been a very high strung person who worried about everything, over time Reiki has transformed me into a calm, peaceful, life loving person. I can now accept, forgive, and love with every fiber in my being - and I have new found confidence in myself. The transformation even had my mother and close friends telling me they noticed I was different! After seeing the amazing results as a client, I then decided to take classes with James to learn more about what Reiki was all about. Once again, James did not disappoint. I feel very lucky to have him as my Reiki master - he's so knowledgeable and eager to share his learnings! I can honestly say that seeing James as both a client and student are the best decisions I've ever made in my life. Bold statement, but it's true - and I'm never looking back!

I was curious. I knew I wasn't completely happy with my current situation. I felt stuck. I didn't have the courage to take the first step to change. James opened the door with a happy yet calming energy and somehow I knew this would be the answer. The room was bright and the air had a sweet scent of incense. I instantly felt safe and found myself talking with an open mind and open heart to a person I had just met. Receiving messages from loved ones who had passed felt amazing and reassuring. The Reiki portion of the session started with James guiding me into a deep meditative state. I think our first session was over 2 1/2 hours and worth every penny. I felt amazing and couldn't wait until I could see him again. I have also taken meditation and intuition classes with James and recently completed my level 2 Reiki certification. James is an amazing teacher. I'm so glad I was curious and took that first step to book an appointment with him. I have grown mentally, emotionally and spiritually in the last year and I do owe it all to James.

I met James at Modern Sage in Jersey City for Reiki 1 and my experience was amazing and spiritual. I loved being able to spend my weekends doing something for myself that can also be helpful to others. And James made it so down to Earth; I was able to understand and connect. That's why I decided to do Reiki 2 and soon, Reiki 3! His spirit is kind and he's a natural born teacher with a funny side, what more could you ask for!

I've completed both Reiki Levels I and II with James very recently and I can not explain how absolutely blessed I feel to not only have completed something that I'm excited to now be attuned to heal myself and others BUT to have been able to do so with James. He is quite a gentle and very awakened being/soul. His gifts are multifaceted and his guidance taking people through the healing process is by far graceful and exemplary. I'm honored and privileged to call James a friend and guide. I plan to definitely go back to Benemudra for my Reiki Master class. Two years ago, the first time I met with James I had gone with my gut and decided to receive Reiki from him. Before any sort of energy work or teaching, you have to decide if you truly click with the person you are reaching out to. James is a wonderful soul, his spirit shines through when you step foot into his space. He is absolutely one of the most radiant human beings I have ever encountered in my life. It is so true what Maya Angelou said... it is how people make you feel that you always remember. As a Reiki Master, his skill level is above and beyond many teachers I have come across. He is truly gifted. As a Reiki Practitioner myself, I really value being able to receive from him because he uses his instincts to work with your body. The first time we had a session, just as we were about to begin he had gently touched my right foot and I felt something from the top of the right side of my body shoot down to meet him...completely internal sensation as if he was commanding whatever was inside to meet him where his hand was. That is called having an incredible gift as a healer. So fast forward two years later, James has made my body and mind feel and work infinitely better. His kindness and generosity with time during our sessions makes me feel like there is so much love being given to this process. This is his life and calling, and it shows. And in case you didn't know, he is also incredibly psychic...clairaudient and clairvoyant from my experience. Every Reiki session includes a chat with your spirit guides, angels, and ancestors (or whomever chooses to show up your session!) and he brilliantly decodes so much information for you. So far I can verify that he is on the money with everything he says. To put in the simplest words: James is the real deal, and a session with him will be nothing but beneficial in improving your mental and physical health. Thank you for everything you have done so far for me, you are forever in my heart!

James is not only the real deal but also an amazing healer. I reached out to James during a difficult time in my life. At this time I wasn't convinced about medium / psychic abilities but having studied Reiki myself I figured he would be a good fit for what I needed. After only speaking with James for 5 minutes all doubts were thrown out the window. Not only did he amaze me with all the details he knew about my life and the people in it but his messages were all comforting and exactly what I needed to hear. From the moment you say hello you instantly feel calm and relaxed around him. He has helped bring so much peace and clarity into my life. A true healer and very gifted, James is really truly special and I am constantly sending referrals his way. I can not recommend him enough!

I did my Reiki level 1 and level 2 with James Bene. If I have to say all in one word, that would be INCREDIBLE! James is an extremely thoughtful, experienced and knowledgeable teacher. I just got my Reiki Level 2 certification on March 23rd and apart from learning, there is so much hands on training available that is not provided by other teachers. On the last day I was able to administer reiki on 2 people that I met for the first time. It was very helpful to get feedback from clients, and very encouraging to hear how they felt. The best was how one of them came with severe pain and she was at ease by the time she left. The way James teaches is very self explanatory and instead of memorizing you actually just understand the history and techniques. I have to add that his classes are less like just getting trained and more like getting enlightened. His wonderful personality makes you feel like you have found your best friend.

"LIFE CHANGING" is all that comes to mind when I recall my first session with James. Through his gentle, yet expertly trained hands, I experienced instant relief from the anxiety and stress I would feel on a daily basis. Since this initial session and with our ongoing appointments, I am now finally able to reconnect with my natural state of relaxation, contentment and appreciation for life! I have James and his service to thank. He goes above and beyond to not only tailor my sessions to my needs each time, but he offers me counsel and intuitive messages that come during our sessions! I've always considered Bene Mudra to be one of the best kept secrets, but word is getting out and after one session with James, you'll see why too! He's the real deal and I can't praise him and his services enough! p.s. he offers very cool workshops like reiki training and events like monthly psychic circles !

WOW what an experience!!! James Bene is truly one of the most gifted, gentle and giving healer I have ever had the pleasure of working with (And I have been to quite a few Reiki Masters, healer etc;) - at his hands you feel like you have transcended to another realm where everything is so much clearer and calmer and you can really tend to problems and find solutions. It's like a vitamin shot for the soul - it's very addicting, you start craving that peacefulness after a while :) I would highly recommend James to anyone who is looking to go inside and live a better, more conscious life.

I had my first ever reiki session with James and I haven't stopped talking about it since! James has a gift and was very intuitive and in touch with my needs. I felt a natural high after our session as I was filled with "space" and wonderful energy. I can't wait for my next session and highly recommend James to anyone seeking a reiki experience.

I would highly recommend Bene Mudra Wellness to anyone who is seeking a better life! I sought out James for Reiki sessions and received so much more than I bargained for. Besides the Reiki treatments (which are so amazing), he also incorporated spiritual talk therapy which helped me for more than any therapist I have ever seen. I experienced a kind of healing with James that I didn't think was possible for myself. I bought a package of 6 and went about once a week. I am changed because of his treatments and I look forward to seeing him again soon!

I had my first reiki treatment with james and became completely hooked. He has changed my life! Its not only the reiki, but his mere presence that inspires me. During the session he incorporates spiritual coaching as well. He has guided me to a new and improved way of thinking, a higher-power and got me to believe that I have the magic to create my own world. Since I started working with him I feel like I am golden and unstoppable! I highly recommend James Bene to anyone who is seeking a better life for themselves. The prices were also great!
